How long have you been creating the Hawley Collection Line?
We have been designing and creating our Santa’s, Elves, Personality People, Painted Pillows and Hand Crafted Creations since 1995, in our Hilton Head Island Studio.
Do you keep an inventory of your pieces?
We do not keep a large inventory in stock. We take pride in hand building each and every creations as they are ordered. In this way we can customize each piece to specifically meet our clients requests.
How long does it take to create an Heirloom Santa?
It generally takes about one week to build our Santa’s from head to toe. We construct the wooden and wire frame. Sculpt and paint the face and hands. Attach the sheep wool beard and glasses. Cut and Sew the costumes and create their accessories. The final touch is numbering and attaching a certificate of authenticity.
Where do you find all your supplies and accessories?
Everywhere! We shop markets, craft events and online sources, too numerous to mention. But we also hand build many of our pieces as so many items do not fit the correct proportions or just are not available.
When do I need to place my order to receive it by Christmas?
You may place your order at any time and request a later shipment date. Our busy season starts in mid-August and continues until December 23rd. Creation times can be up to 2 weeks and longer.
What shipping methods are available at checkout?
We currently provide shipping via UPS ground and UPS 3-day select. We plan to add USPS to the website checkout process very soon. All shipping methods are available to us however, call anytime and we will be happy to provide delivery through all the major carriers.
